Vel’s MSL Carbon Bottle Cage is a great option for use on smaller frames or full suspension mountain bikes where clearance is limited as its side-loading design allows easier access. This also means it works well on bikepacking trips when a frame bag occupies a lot of space within the front triangle and can prevent the use of a normal bottle cage. The full UD carbon construction keeps the weight low without compromising strength or durability, with the cage weighing a mere 20 grams.
